What is the definition of a password electronic door lock?
Password electronic door locks require keying in a confidential password (consisting of numbers and / or letters) to be unlocked. Unlike mechanical code door locks, the electronic door locks require electrical current to operate. Power can be supplied by batteries: a light signal then starts flashing when inserted batteries are almost discharged.
Electronic door locks can also be opened using a remote control, or simply with a key.
The single lock can work with multiple remote controls, and a single remote control can also be used to control several locks. You can also set a desired time when the door should be locked.
The electrical impulse is directed to the cylinder and not to the strike-plate, so that it is not necessary to change the entire lock to install a password electronic door lock - a kit matching to the size of the door’s cylinder is enough.
