How much is a professional large format printer (A3, A2…)?

Also known as a plotter or tracer, professional large format printers are ideal for printing plans or posters.

Available in many models, large format printers can be found in a significant price range: a large format multifunction printer with 2,400 DPI resolution costs between £20,000 and £25,000 excluding VAT, while a more basic plotter costs less than £3,000 excluding tax. 

 

When large format printing needs are limited to A2 format (42 x 59.4 cm), it is possible to find colour equipment priced around £1,500.
