This type of contract generally includes the replacement of spare parts, on-site support, labour costs, equipment updates, replacement of maintenance kits and replenishment of consumables (delivery of ink toners or ink cartridges included).
The cost of a printing equipment maintenance contract varies from one supplier to another, ranging from around £40 to several hundred quids per month.
In order to better control related budget, it is better to prefer a contract based on the actual number of printed pages, which is called "cost per page".
